The mega watt mobile disco known in Jamaica as the sound system remains the most important vehicle in bringing Reggae music to the masses. Once confined to spinning records at outdoor dances (parties) in Jamaica’s Capital City Kingston, the sound system’s role has expanded to include international tour dates and headlining stage shows.

“ADONAI”, from The Ethiopian Amharic language, means “Father God of all Creation”. Ras Adonai thought the word was unique and it truly expressed his musical intentions. This meaning represented their approach in life, in that everything they were going to achieve would be by glorifying their Creator.
